Stone Cottage: consists of an old stone house and cottage as well as converted stables situated in an acre of what must be one of Deneysville's more established gardens close to Deneysville Aquatic Club and the waters edge.

The kitchen
Bathroom has a shower over a bath, toilet and vanity basin - all towels are provided.
Garden There is a small secluded private garden at the rear with table and chairs and kettle brai. To the front there is a stoep covered by a grape vine for shade. Guests have full use of the pool and extensive gardens.
The mature trees provide shelter for many species of birds and visitors would not have to move far from their garden chairs to spot some interesting varieties.
The venue is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway and has been used several times for wedding pictures short honeymoons and romatic weekends.
A glance at the many kind favourable comments in the visitors book are testiment to the happy times our guests have spent here.
Plans for 2010 include a tea garden and a small art gallery as well as arts and craft weekend get-aways.

Garden Area includes a table and chairs and an open air shower with hot and cold water. There is also a braaing area with built in braai table and seat as well as a separate kettle braai. Guests have full use of the pool and gardens.
The newly renovated bed and breakfast unit called the Norma Jeane (Marilyn Monroe) room is tastefully furnished, offering a romantic experience with bathroom en-suite and has the benefit of a small garden equipped with outside braai. This room was inspired by her glamour, with her unparalleled glow and energy that enamored the world. Although she was an alluring beauty with voluptuous curves and a generous pout, Marilyn was more than a '50s sex goddess. Her apparent vulnerability and innocence, in combination with an innate sensuality, has endeared her to the global consciousness. She dominated the age of movie stars to become, without question,one of the most famous Women of the 20th Century.
We provide coffee, tea, milk and sugar on arrival, the kitchens are fully equipped with most things needed (accept food). Bath towels and all bedding is also provided. There is a friendly Spar and country butchery five minutes away in the village, where you can purchase most things needed including wine. Other shops include Coffee Shop, Butchery, Bottle Store, Post Office etc.
To make your weekend more romantic I can arrange for a sunset/sunrise cruise (early bookings essential). There are various places available to launch your boat at a minimal charge some with “braai” facilities.
