Deneysville is the perfect place for access to the unpolluted waters of the Vaal Dam and only
around 120 kilometers on good roads from Johannesburg and Pretoria the village is easy to get to.
The waters of the Vaal Dam are ideal for power boats, yachts and dinghys as well as jet ski's. Fishing
is available around the waters edge and good facilities such as sunshades and braais are provided at the Water Sports Club which also hold regular fishing competitions. There are catamaran cruises available
as well as horse riding and walks around the waters edge.
A little known fact is that Deneysville has its own crocodile farm with lions ostriches and Emu's
all available to view for a short entrance fee. Recently a splendid motorcycle museum has been commissioned at Lake Avenue Inn with many classical motorcycles on display.
